EC is the conventional method for polysaccharide analysis. A new approach uses reversed-phase with Presto FF-C18 (2um non-porous ODS). This method should be useful for quantitation of polysaccharides:

Presto FF-C18 consists of C18 bonded to monodispersed 2um non-porous silica. It is useful for both biopolymer and synthetic polymer separations, gets very high efficiency with low flow rates, is compatible with conventional HPLC systems, and offers different selectivity. |
